옥좌에 앉은 성모자상
성모 마리아의 무릎에 확고하게 앉아 있는 아기 예수를 묘사한 이 구도는 단순한 모자상 이상으로 성스런 지혜의 체현으로서의 아기 예수의 역할을 강조합니다. 이러한 메시지를 강조하기 위해 예수가 책을 들고 있는 작품도 있습니다. 이 조각상은 성모 마리아의 옷에 표현된 리듬 있는 패턴, 얼굴을 두른 섬세한 베일, 방석에 해당하는 부분에 남아 있는 녹색 채색 흔적을 통해 엄숙미를 보여줍니다. 이러한 조각상은 예배 대상물이었으며 교회 행렬 행사의 일환으로서 운반되었습니다. 또한 이 조각상이 성유물함 역할을 했을 것으로 추정되는 이유는 성모상의 어깨 뒤쪽과 가슴에 두 개의 공동이 있기 때문입니다.
