Presenting the Condé M. Nast Galleries

A new chapter for fashion at The Met is about to begin. The Condé M. Nast Galleries, a new nearly 12,000-square-foot space at the heart of the Museum, will open in less than a week. Max Hollein, The Met's Director and CEO, and Miriam Peterson and Nathan Rich, founders of architecture firm Peterson Rich Office, take you behind the scenes.

Costume Art, the space's inaugural exhibition, opens on Sunday, May 10.
