(New York, June 23, 2022)—Beginning July 1, The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden at The Metropolitan Museum of Art will be transformed into a venue for electronic music every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the summer. Titled Sun Sets, this is the first concert series on The Met’s popular rooftop and will feature a diverse lineup of electronic musicians like Liondub, Kristine Barilli, Toribio, the collective Uklon, and others celebrating freedom, inclusivity, and the creativity of electronic music culture and the city's ever-evolving music underground.

Max Hollein, Marina Kellen French Director of The Met, said, “Our Sun Sets series is a celebration of New York City’s dynamic and legendary music scene. We’re thrilled to welcome this phenomenal group of electronic artists to the Cantor Roof Garden this summer and for all to enjoy the energy and music while taking in the stunning views of Central Park and the city skyline.”
