Socks

Macedonian

Not on view

These socks display a skillful use of color, used in creating a multitude of floral, geometric and stylized goddess figure motifs. The use of embroidery creates an additional layer of visual interest and richness. Although identified as from the Macedonian town of Servia, which lies west of Mt. Olympus, as a result of the 1913 Partition, Servia in 2008 lies within the Kozani prefecture of Greece.
