Not on view

Bianconi and Venini jointly conceived this whimsical design that resembles a fluttering, falling handkerchief. Originally designed in 1948, "fazzoletto" vases were produced in a variety of different techniques after 1949. The technique used here is "incamiciato" (whitewashed) glass, involving two layers of glass, at least one of which is opaque.
