This lampas textile is almost indistinguishable in its weaving technique from designs made one hundred years earlier; equally traditional is the
vase-of-flowers repeat pattern. At the same time, the stylization of the floral motif and the outré pink-and-silver colorway make it unmistakably
early twentieth century.
