Head of Khety (?) - see 26.3.354-5-related

Middle Kingdom

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 107

Only scattered fragments of decoration of Khety's desert hunt (see 26.3.354-5-related) remain. Here we see a sliver of a face that may be Khety himself. He would most likely have been drawing his bow to bring down a fleeing creature.
