This vessel is a rare representation of an individual wearing gold disks. The disks—shown in low relief as concentric rings emulating repoussé (raised relief) details—decorate the chest, both sides of the shoulders, the knees, and the rear hips. The figure’s body is also decorated with black and red paint and images of curled-snout crocodilians.



Esta vasija es una representación poco frecuente de un individuo que lleva puestos discos de oro. Los discos, presentados en bajo relieve como aros concéntricos que imitan el detalle del repujado (relieve que surge a partir del motivo dibujado sobre la superficie y realzado desde la cara posterior) decoran el pecho, ambos lados de los hombros, las rodillas y parte trasera de las caderas. Su cuerpo también está decorado con pintura negra y roja e imágenes de hocicos de cocodrilo respingados.
