The leisure suit was a matched shirt and pants set for men made in a comfortable, untraditional fabric and cut in a somewhat flamboyant manner. Made for casual wear, it was one of the many experiments in fashionable menswear during the 1970s. This particular ensemble derives its ease from the velveteen fabric and straight cut shirt; the pants are fully tailored, albeit with fewer pockets than the traditional style
