One of a group of Napoleonic portraits in wax by Santarelli owned by the Museum (38.145.36–.39). This piece served as the model for the reverse of the medal commemorating Elisa Baciocchi's assumption of the title granducale in 1809. See 38.145.37 for the portrait of Elisa Baciocchi which served as the model for the obverse of the medal.
