Birds in Hyperspace

Clarence John Laughlin American

Not on view

The placement of Laughlin's camera and the selective focus he employed make the mesh fence seem to vibrate and, in places, disappear. Thus, one bird seems to stand on our side of the fence, eyeing the other, asleep on its single leg, inside the cage.
