Designer Margarete Willers German

Not on view

Within a strict framework of squares and rectangles, Willers explores the formal possibilities of color and black-and-white patterning. The artists at the Bauhaus Weaving Workshop began their studies, guided by masters such as Paul Klee, with a preliminary course on the basic elements of art and design.
