Judith with the Head of Holofernes, ca. 1630–35

The painting, which shows the influence of Guido Reni and Jusepe de Ribera, seems to have been painted about 1630–35. It is said to have been in the collection of King Charles I, and was later owned by Princess Louise, duchess of Argyll, and by the duke of Kent (until 1940).
