Not on view

Contemporary designers seeking a more ergonomically sound form have created socks and shoes that reflect the articulation of the toes. Pierre Cardin, in collaboration with Carlos Peñafiel, modified the footprint of his man's shoe only slightly. But he suggested a more natural shape than is actually created by indicating the toes of the foot in clear relief.
