Chintz appliquéd quilt

The quilt top, binding, and backing are made from white linen fabric. The top is decorated with chintz appliques and a chintz border. The central floral medallion and the four corner ovals are printed in shades of pink, red, brown, and blue-green. The chintz border is printed with roses on a vermicelli background. There are fine double shells quilted in the central area and parallel diagonal lines quilted in the border.
