This carpet was owned by Craftsman furniture designer and publisher, Gustav Stickley(1858-1942). It was the largest carpet in the dining room of his home, Craftsman Farms, in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Stickley sold Donegal carpets like this in his catalogues beginning in 1905.
