Parasol
The ruffles of the canopy of this parasol were particularly stylish during the teens, and the overall style echoes the skirts of wartime crinolines. Continuing the green color scheme, the jade handle is very attractive and coordinates perfectly with the canopy. The provenance adds extra interest as it was donated by the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust established in 1938.
