Parasol
While this parasol has a simple black exterior, the interior is a changeante silk in a muted red which completely covers the interior mechanisms. The handle is particularly refined in its carving, as the leaf motif on one side has been carved out from the base, giving a 3D aspect to the design. Additionally, the shaping of the crook is asymmetrical and elegant.
