Dress

American

Not on view

The combination of charming fabrics used to contruct this dress is very eye-catching. The use of two contrasting fabrics could simply have been a design decision made by the maker, or chosen because of a shortage of fabric. Either way, the overall look is pleasing. The openness of the sleeve is very fashionable for the period and would have been appropriate for a young girl.
