Possibly Mr. Johnson (father of E. M. Johnson) American
Not on view
This intricate Etruscan revival locket was made c.1878 in Springfield Massachusetts. An engraving inside the locket’s lid reads “E M Johnson from Father/ Dec. 25th, 1878,” and family tradition holds that “Father” was the jeweler himself who fabricated this piece for his daughter.
