The undyed linen base of this coverlet is embroidered with silk in shades of green, gold, salmon, and blue in stem and satin stitches. It is decorated with Art Nouveau-style irises and vines, following a pattern printed in blue on the linen. It is seamed at the center and backed with undyed cotton fabric.
