Hanss Lambrecht III

Not on view

Hanss Lambrecht III was one of the leading goldsmiths in the Hanseatic town of Hamburg. Several of his inventive creations are preserved in royal treasuries, including the Kremlin Museum in Moscow. Already famous during his lifetime, he is known for taking floral decoration to its apex, and Lambrecht’s pieces radiate the best of this "full-blown" ornamental pattern applied to objects of harmonious proportions.
