Nécessaire
Not on view
This pocket nécessaire contains the following fittings for personal grooming: a patch box with mirror, tweezers, ear spoon, file, and two scent bottles with porcelain stoppers. It is part of a group of étuis and snuffboxes collected by the New York broker Valentine Alexander Blacque, who retired to Paris in the 1880s.
