Delaborde believes this was engraved after Michelangelo's fresco 'l'Ivresse de Noé', from the volts of the Sistine chapel in the Vatican. The two men in the fresco are the sons of Noah. In Michelangelo's fresco, the two men are portrayed in front of a cabane whereas in the print the background is left blank. The engraver added a tree trunk on the right.
