Rectangular designs for the decoration of a tobacco box. In the center a rectangular compartment is placed which contains a landscape. In the foreground a courting couple is visible while in the background two men are hunting. The scene is surrounded by a decorative frame with strapwork. Below a hare is depicted surounded by leaves. On each side of the frame a candelabra construction has been made out of the strapwork and a monkey is placed on a pedestal in the middle.
