Candelabra Grotesque with a Vase with Fruit and an Amazon Shield
Half of a candelabra grotesque, copied after a print published by Cornelis Bos around 1540. The design is characterized by a vase with fruit as the base for the candelabra. It ends on top with an Amazon shield. From a meandering wreath on the right springs a chandelier on top of whicha female figure has been placed.
