Two Panels with Ceiling Designs, from a Series of Six Plates with Ceiling Designs
Two vertical panels with designs for ceilings. The design at left has an oval dome at bottom and a putto with tendrils in place of legs above. The design at right has a round dome at bottom and a vase above. From an untitled series of six plates with ceiling designs, two of which carry the date 1708, suggesting the set is a later addition.
