Barrel
The Chinese influence in "Talavera Poblana" was brought about by the importation of late Ming and early Qing blue and white Chinese porcelain into Mexico through Acapulco. The first style is characterized by dominant blue designs with white reserved decorative panels. The second style features Chinese figural decoration outlined in blue on a white surface. The third style illustrates European figural decoration with Chinese details. The fourth style exhibits alternating blue and white shapes decorated with floral motifs and white reserves forming silhouettes.
