Bifolium from al-Jazuli's Dala'il al-Khayrat (Blessings of the Prophet)

Not on view

This bifolium is from a manuscript of the Dala'il al-Khayrat, a collection of prayers for the prophet Muhammad, written by Sufi scholar Muhammad al-Jazuli. The writing is primarily in brown Maghribi script, but interspersed within the text the words "O Allah" and "Muhammad" are highlighted in blue, red, yellow, tan or green, creating a colorful pattern on the page.
