Munzir, Bahram's Arab host, sends a painting of him to his father,Yazdigird I, who is so struck by his son's handsome physique and hunting prowess that he asks Munzir to send him to Iran. Bahram arrives and greatly impresses his father with his manly appearance and proper demeanor. Yazdigird then calls Bahram into his service night and day, a situation that eventually causes Bahram to return to Arabia.
