Bracelet, One of a Pair
Not on view
Bracelets like this one were worn in pairs by Kabyle women in Algeria. Jewels made by the Kabyle people are readily identifiable by the vibrant colored enamels in blue, red, and yellow. Red coral is commonly found in Berber (Amazigh) jewelry across North Africa, though imitation gems in glass or plastic are also common substitutes for precious stones.
