Medal: Niccolo Puzzolo
Not on view
On the obverse is a portrait of Niccolo Puzzolo, whose dates and identity remain uncertain. Most unusually, he is portrayed with a bare chest. The reverse bears an image of a fortress of Novi, presumably that in Novi Ligure in the Italian region of Piedmont. The fine cast is from the sixteenth century.
