Bowl
Kent is best known as a turner of remarkably thin, translucent bowls made from Norfolk Island pine, a wood indigenous to Hawaii, where he lives. His graceful forms are complemented by the purposeful selection of logs that include knots, textures, and contrasts; when light shines through, the intrinsic beauty of the patterned wood is revealed.
