Catalogue of "Americana Prints"

Not on view
The Stehli Silks Corporation printed 1500 copies of this small book to introduce the original 1926 line of Americana Prints textile designs. The six designers of Series I were asked to sketch "their ideas of frocks which might be made from their designs." While some dress designs are better delineated than others, they all reveal the artists’ striking creativity, and "the skill and originality which went to the making of these Americana Prints."
