This kohl tube of Egyptian faience has an inscription nameing the eldest daughter of Amenhotep III who also became his wife. The inscription reads: the King's Daughter and Great Royal Wife, Sitamun.
Formerly MacGregor Collection. Purchased by Lord Carnarvon at MacGregor sale (Sotheby's, June 1922, lot 255). Carnarvon Collection purchased by the Museum from Lady Carnarvon, 1926.
