Beadwork strip, face applique
Composed of several thousand disk-shaped faience beads, this bearded face would have been placed over the head and neck of a mummy. It was likely joined to other beaded elements, such as a broad collar, winged scarab, and canopic genii. For an example still in situ, see the mummy of Peftjauneit in Leiden.
