Plant Stand
Frank Lloyd Wright American
These two plant stands (1972.60.11,.12) were made for the Peoria house and are identical to a set that can be seen in photographs of the house Wright designed for Susan Dana in Springfield, Illinois (1902). While Wright designed unique, built-in furnishings for many of his domestic interiors, he appears to have created a standard set of moveable furnishings to be included in many of his Prairie Style commissions.
