Unnumbered plate based on part of the frieze from the Temple of Minerva (also called Le Colonnacce or the Temple of Pallas) depicting five female figures. This image appears below plate 39, Part of the Aqueducts of the Claudian Aqueducts (or Aqua Claudia). These two images appear between two pages of plates; plate 40 on the following page shows another view of the Aqua Claudia. Facing plate 40 is the first of two pages of text (pages 69 to 70) describing the aqueduct.
