Unnumbered plate with a fragment of a relief showing a reclining female figure at left and a crouching male figure lifting a pedestal (?) at right. The Palais Justinien mentioned in the title may refer to the Palazzo Giustiniani, which housed an extensive collection of antique works of art, including bas-relief of the type depicted. This image appears below plate 48, View of the remains of the Tomb of Scipios on the Appian Way, and across from page 82, which contains the section of text describing the Tomb.
