Fragmens Antiques, from Les Plus Beaux Monuments de Rome Ancienne ou Recueil des plus beaux Morceaux de l'Antiquité Romaine qui existent encore
Unnumbered plate with architectural and sculptural fragments, with an imperial bust at center and a relief with tendrils and grotesques at left. This engraving appears at the bottom of page 83, below a section of text titled "Description d'un Sepulchre sur la voie Appia qu'on croit être de la Famille des Metellus," which describes the tomb shown in plate 49 on the facing page. This image is one of nine in the volume that are incorporated into text pages, rather than on separate folios of plates.
