This print became plate 32 from the later portfolio 'Estampas de la revolución Mexicana' (prints of the Mexican Revolution) published by the TGP in 1947. It is presumed that the Taller de Gráfica de Popular also published this print. See 1993.1133.6

The 'Ten Tragic Days' was a series of events that took place in Mexico City between 9 -19 February 1913 that led to a coup d'état and the assassination of President Francisco I. Madero, and his Vice President, José María Pino Suárez.
