Design for a Tabernacle, Plate 4 from the series 'Tabernacle'
Ornament print with a design for a tabernacle in frontal elevation. The tabernacle is slightly asymmetrical and is decorated with rocaille ornaments. The structure has a deep central niche, and is crowned by a baldachin of rocaille ornaments supporting the IHS-monogram. This print is bound in an album containing 27 series with a total of 122 ornament prints from the fund of the prominent Augsburg publisher Martin Engelbrecht.
