Fifth plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters. This plate consists of a dancing woman wearing a costume for Esmeralda, which consists of a white sleeveless shirt worn under a loosely tied black corset with golden borders, laces and semi-abstract embroidered scrolling patterns, and a blue flounce skirt with golden border and yellow, orange and blue tassels, with a yellow scarf tied around the hips. She wears a matching scarf on her loose hair, held with headbands of golden beads. Layered necklaces made with the same type of golden beads hang around her neck, and one is tied around her wrist. The other wrist is adorned by a gold bangle, her hand holding a wooden tambourine. She wears large, hoop earrings, and her face is heavily made up with red and blue eyeshadows and red lipstick. She wears white tights and shoes, with a small, brown buckle.
