Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains a large, quatrefoil knot with stylized pine cones on each of the foils, and a small rosette in the center. Around it, and filling the page, are 12 rosettes of different styles, some of them inside roundels, possibly to be used as ornaments in designs together with the larger motif in the center. All the designs are lithographed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
