Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains the title page for the sixth issue of the "Guide du Dessinateur de l'Industrie", and consists of a frame made up of four pairs of C-curves, linked by pairs of thin, diagonal stripes, surrounded by thin, scrolling branches, and flanked above and below by small stylized crowns, containing an inscription with the title and publisher of the publication, in the center of the sheet. To the sides are two hexagonal frames, both with a rosette in the center, surrounded by scrolling branches with small leaves; the frame on the left is bordered with small, thin C-curves. Surrounding them are four designs for page corners, made up of quarter-roundels with geometric motifs, including shuttles, triangles, ovals, and T-shapes, flanked by palmettes of different kinds, scrolling leaves, and stylized flowers and leaves of different types.
