The second design is made up of vertical pairs of undulating stripes, one rendered with thin, diagonal lines, and the other with small, white pearls, interlaced by leaves with offsetting, C-curved scrolls, separated by a vertical stripe with hexagonal scrolling frames containing thin bundles of stylized flowers and leaves over a background with thin, diagonal stripes and dashes. The third design is made up of a vertical, undulating branch with pointed offsets, a strip of four semi-abstract scrolling motifs to its left, and teo diagonal stripes with pairs of roses, a diagonal stripe with a semi-abstract rose, almost invisible, and a semi-abstract, scrolling paisley leaf interlaced by a thin garland of flowers and leaves to its right. The fourth design consists of a checked pattern made up of horizontal stripes with thin, diagonal lines and scrolling leaves, and vertical stripes filled alternatingly with undulating branches with pointed-end leaves over a striped background, and with thinner vertical stripes and thin, undulating garlands with stylized, exotic leaves over a white ground with stipples. The designs are executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
