T. Rowlandson. The Caricaturist

Sitter Thomas Rowlandson British
ca. 1900
Not on view
A clumsy portrait image of Rowlandson shown seated at a table, on which rest an etching plate and burin. He holds a sheet of paper, and there are two caricatures on the wall behind. The style appears to be early 19th century but it could be a later approximation.
