The British fascination for Japanese porcelain is evident in these two plates, which incorporate a Rococo silver shape with a Japanese Kakiemon-inspired design. Watched by a curious tiger, the dragon twists its body around the bamboo stalk in a shape that mimics the undulating edge of each plate.
