Frank Lloyd Wright designed this table and its mate, 1981.438.3, for Auldbrass Plantation near Yemassee, South Carolina, one of his "Usonian" projects. This is one of his few projects in the South. Other pieces, 1981.438.1–1981.438.5, designed for this house include a sideboard, a chair, and a clerestory window.
