Spoon
This table spoon is one of a set of three. Although these table spoons were at one time attributed to Joseph Richardson of Philadelphia, it now seems probable that they were made by Jonathon Reed in Boston. The inscription on these spoons refers to John and Elizabeth Tousel, who were married in 1720. The spoons are matched by two others now in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
